2. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable) We do not share aggregated demographic information about our user base with any third parties.
Personally Identifiable Information We do share some personally identifiable information with third parties as necessary, see ?Service Providers? below.
Agents We use an outside shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services.
These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
Service Providers We use other third parties for filling in orders for products from our website which we do not carry in our own inventory.
When you place an order for such products we will share your order details, name and shipping information as necessary for the
third party to fulfill the order.
We also use a third party service provider for sending out email campaigns. When you sign up for our Membership or mailing list, we will
share your name and email address as necessary for the third party to provide the email delivery service. This third party is
prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can
make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.
Legal Disclaimer We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure
is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website
3. Choice/Opt-Out
We provide you the opportunity to ?opt-out? of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, when we ask for this information.
If you no longer wish to receive our mailing list communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each email.
Additionally, you can opt out by emailing us at contact@chengdesign.com and specifying the subject of the last email communication you have received from us.
4. Log Files
As is true of most Websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet
protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users? movements around the
site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
We use third-party tracking software called WebTrends and NetTracker that use log files to track non-personally identifiable information
about visitors to our site in the aggregate. We capture information on traffic volume (for the site and for individual pages), navigational
paths through the site (including conversion patterns) and HTTP errors. We use this information for identifying technical problems and analyzing trends in site usage.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user?s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site, but do not
link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser or after a certain
period of idle activity on a page. We use session ID cookies to allow logged in Members to retrieve Members-only information. We also use
these cookies for enabling customers who have added products to the shopping cart to proceed through the checkout process.
A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions
provided in your Internet browser?s ?Help? file under ?cookies? (See also
Microsoft Website). We use persistent cookies for analyzing
navigational patterns of users who visit our website more than once. We do not personally identify these users.
If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as the shopping cart, may be limited.
Some of our business partners (e.g. content delivery/testing agencies) use cookies on our site. We have no access to or control over these cookies.
This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by www.concreteexchange.com only and does not cover the use of cookies by any third-parties.
6. Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by
informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies,
and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user?s computer hard drive,
clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the
information gathered by clear gifs to our customers? personally identifiable information.
We use clear gifs on our mailing list registration page for tracking the submission of the registration form and on our shopping
cart pages for tracking sales-related information like product IDs and quantity ordered. This information is used in conjunction
with site navigation patterns for assessing the effectiveness of different site elements in generating sales and/or mailing list sign-ups.
Clear gifs are also used by our email campaign provider in the emails we send out. The purpose is to let us know which emails have
been opened by recipients and how many links have been clicked on. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications
and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see ?Choice and Opt-out.?
7. Third Party Advertisers
We do not carry ads delivered by third party advertisers.
8. Links to Other Sites
This website contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Cheng Concrete Exchange. Please be aware that we,
Cheng Concrete Exchange, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects
personally identifiable information.
This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this website.
9. Access to Personally Identifiable Information

(such as your credit card number) on our mailing list registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using
Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). To learn more about SSL, follow this link
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/S/SSL.html.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during
transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage,
is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal
information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you have any questions about security on our Website, you can send an email to contact@chengdesign.com.
11. Business Transitions
In the event Cheng Concrete Exchange goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another
company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among
the assets transferred. You will be notified via email of any such change in ownership or control of your personal
information.
