This unique 5-day Advanced Training: Design + Construction for Fireplaces, Islands + Architectural Walls led by Fu-Tung Cheng is for the concrete artisan interested in the art of designing and building sophisticated kitchen islands, formed walls and fireplace surrounds. Highlights include observing demonstrations on casting wall sections, pouring and de-molding a complex island as well as instruction by master mold-maker, Dave Condon (who many of you will remember from his presentation at our 5-Day Advanced Countertop Design Training Program). This design intensive training will conclude with a design critique of your work conducted by Fu-Tung Cheng.

  - How to design fireplace, door and window surrounds
  - How to simulate limestone/sandstone finishes
  - How to develop mix designs
