Personally developed and led by Fu-Tung Cheng, the Advanced Countertop Design Training Seminar is a intensive, week long program held in our Berkeley, California 7,000 sq.ft. Academy Headquarters and Cheng Design Fabrication Shop. Conducted by professional Cheng instructors and a hand picked group of industry leaders, attendees will learn the principles of good concrete design, the techniques to implement them, advanced mold making and the trade secrets of Fu-Tung's proprietary Geocrete finish. Participants will craft several of Cheng's original designs, each including features and techniques discussed throughout the training seminar.

- Learn to build a concrete countertop from start to finish. By working in small groups of three, attendees will build a complete concrete countertop project under the direct supervision of Cheng instructors. All instructors possess extensive hands-on, professional experience in the design, fabrication and marketing of concrete countertops.
- Learn the trade secrets for creating our Geocrete finish. This proprietary, high-end finish has been the cornerstone of Fu-Tung's personal success in the concrete countertop business. Without requiring any additional polishing, Geocrete countertops are ready to seal and wax shortly after un-forming.
