There is nothing like an inspiring image that clearly tells the story of a concrete countertop's beauty and sculptural quality. Clearly the image is the major storyteller, but your message about your services and capabilities need to be clear as well. These oversized, full-color postcards are a cost-effective option for directly marketing to your target audience. First, develop a highly targeted list of designers and builders and/or homeowners in your area.
There are two options to choose from as shown below. Self-Marketer Postcard A is designed to prospect homeowners; Self-Marketer Postcard B is designed for the architect/designer market. However, keep in mind that although the images and "hook" messages differ between the two options, the overarching idea and key message is the same between the two postcards. Therefore, you can use both postcards interchangeably and send either of the postcards to any target audience.
Create a Direct Mail Campaign
Using both postcards, you can create a direct mail campaign where you send Postcard A to your target audience. Then, you can follow up with Postcard B to the same list of people three or six months later so that they keep you in mind and remember you from your first mailing. This is an effective, inexpensive way of reaching your audience. Remember that a campaign is only as good as your mailing list—be sure to spend time researching and creating a list that is relative to your services and area. Finally, keep in mind that postcards are meant to inform and hopefully get the recipient to call you. It is up to you to turn the call into a qualified lead and eventually, close the deal on the project!
