Member Training Benefit

Introducing the new Member Training Benefit at CHENG Concrete Exchange! If you’ve invested $3450 in training OR $8000 in products AND have been a Member with 1 year of dues on record, then ANY training offered at CHENG Concrete Training is unlimited. Once you’ve met the Training Benefit Requirements, then you’re eligible to take any training as posted on the schedule for all available CHENG Concrete workshops and training in Berkeley, CA at no additional cost for training. Material, supplies and meals subject to a daily fee. To ensure quality of participation, each training is limited to a number of participants.

Requirements

1. Must be a current Member with 1 year of paid dues to qualify. Benefit is not available to Trial Members until dues have been paid for 1 full year after Trial Membership has ended.
2. Must invest a minimum of $3450 in CHENG Training OR have purchased a minimum of $8000 in Concrete Exchange products to qualify.

The following chart illustrates the two qualification methods. Method A utilizes training purchases to meet qualification requirements while Method B relies on product purchases to qualify.

Q1. I’ve been a Member since the beginning so I know I meet the 1-year requirement. I took the Advanced Training and paid only $2850 but now I want to take the FRC Training and other new training, how do I qualify?
You’ve met the 1-year requirement no problem. You need to pay the difference of minimum training investment requirement of $3450, which in your case is $600. Then, you are able to come back and take any training available including the FRC (Fiber Reinforced Concrete) Training (reg. $1450) and Professional Mold Making Training (reg. $900) and more at no additional charge. You can also take the Advanced Training again if you choose!

Q2. If I’m a Trial Member and am entitled to receive 3 months of Free Membership because I took an Advanced Training Combo and already meet the minimum training investment, when am I eligible for the Member Training Benefit?
Since you already meet the training requirement, you become eligible after your Trial Membership ends, if you decide to pay for 1 year Membership in advance. For example, if your Trial Membership goes from January through March 2010, then on April 1 you can purchase your 1 year Membership from April 2010 through March 2011 and begin taking additional training at no charge.

Q3. I paid over $3450 for myself to attend training. Can I now send an employee of my company to take the training?
The Member Training Benefit (MTB) can only be assigned to individuals of a company, and specifically, to the person who originally took the training in order to qualify for this benefit.

In order for an employee to receive the Member Training Benefit, then each employee would need to meet the minimum training investment OR a company can purchase additional MTB assignments under the same Membership for $3950 per employee (no additional membership dues are required for MTBs under the same company membership).
